100 Washington Street, Reno, NV – Understand.com has leased a total of 5,831 SF at the newly remodeled downtown office buildings owned and operated by AMH Properties. AMH acquired these 1st and Washington Street properties in late 2006 and since have redesigned and upgraded both buildings. Upgrades include newly designed interiors, energy efficient fixtures, landscaping, exterior upgrades and much more. The NAI Alliance office team of Scott Shanks, Dominic Brunetti, and Matt Grimes represented the landlord AMH Properties and the tenant Understand.com.

5400 Equity Avenue is an 8,650 square foot building that was recently purchased by a family trust. The NAI Alliance Office and Investment teams represented the seller ProLogis.

Fuchs Investments, LLC has acquired a 152,800 s.f. building located at 1555-1645 Crane Way, Sparks, NV. The building is part of a 565,180 s.f. portfolio of industrial properties in Reno and Sparks, NV offered for sale by The Passco Companies, based in Irvine, CA.

Ranpak Corporation Extends Lease in Reno Market

Ranpak, a privately held manufacturer of in-the-box paper protective packaging systems and materials, has extended its lease in Reno, Nevada. Ranpak services OEM’s and distributors in a wide variety of uses including automotive, medical, industrial, consumer products and technology. The company has been located at 9175 Moya Blvd. since 2002. The Industrial Team at NAI Alliance represented both parties.

Paul Perkins and Dave Simonsen attended the 2008 SIOR Fall World Conference in Minneapolis, MN. In addition, Perkins, who serves as Vice Chairman of Membership Standards, attended the SIOR Leadership Conference. Society of Industrial & Office Realtors designees are universally recognized for their excellence in commercial real estate practices.

Dan Oster attended the 2008 CSCMP Annual Conference in Denver, Colorado. The Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals has over 9,000 members from 63 countries. Oster is past president of the CSCMP Northern Nevada Roundtable.
